MARTIS VALLEY LODGE, TAPESTRY COLLECTION BY HILTON, Truckee – Your ideal downtown stay

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location was ideal for exploring the area, and the complimentary breakfast was hearty and varied. However, there were some minor issues like a leaking toilet and static sheets, and a slight strange smell in the room detracted from the experience.

My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms, though small and dated, were spacious, offered a king bed, and had a convenient roll-in shower with a fold-down bench. Unfortunately, there was a noticeable smell of marijuana in the room, which was a downside for me. The service, however, was exceptional with extremely friendly and efficient staff throughout my stay. The location was perfect for accessing Lake Tahoe and regional destinations without the congestion of the town, making it convenient for those interested in exploring the area. The dining experience was surprisingly good, offering a nice variety of complimentary choices, especially the freshly made Belgian waffle, despite facing some minor issues. The facilities were well-equipped, providing everything needed for a comfortable stay.

I was thrilled with the location of the hotel, just off downtown and convenient to all the activities in the area. The rooms made me feel special and cozy, even though they weren't freshened up each day. The service was top-notch, with the staff making sure we had everything we needed. Dining was sumptuous with lots of hot selections, and the facilities were exceptional.
